1.) John Lefebre- I selected this photograph because in this self portrait he looks intelligent, and I believe that is the way he wants to be seen, this is the way that I would like to be seen as well.
Ken Heyman: In his two self-portraits he does a very good job using shadows to represent his features.
Chuck Close- I love this self-portrait because of the way he just doesn’t simply show himself, he recreates himself in hundreds of squares all displaying who he is.
2.) I chose to use pencil because I am familiar with it and that is all I had near me at the time I was creating the portrait.
3.) When creating the self-portrait I found it difficult to shape my nose and accurately draw my face. In order to overcome this I left the details very vague and kind of simple.
4.) I am not an artist and I think that my self-portrait defiantly represents that about myself because of the way that I drew it you can see that I don’t have talent.
5.) In creating the self-portrait I applied elements of line, shape, shading, and color.
6.) I enjoyed looking at other people’s self-portraits but I did not find it fun re creating myself I found it challenging.
7.) I think of my self portrait was very simple because I would never be able to accurately draw myself in a picture.
